Overview

This is an exciting and challenging position for a Business Change Manager who thrives on new challenges, possesses true entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly flexible environment. The role will be at the centre of the operation and will plan and support business processes to drive organic and inorganic growth for the financial services business.

 

118 118 Money is now a significant financial services business offering personal loans to customers who may find it hard to get credit from their banks, but don’t want to go down the route of a payday loan. Since entering the market in 2013, we’ve made it our business to offer a fair and transparent alternative to these forgotten borrowers.

 

 

The Business Change Manager will be responsible for reviewing business processes, systems and MI, recommending changes and then implementing these changes to the business.

This person must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and an analytical mind to ensure no stone is unturned in the development of new and existing operational processes and systems and then to move these from inception through to implementation with a methodical, systematic approach.

Responsibilities

  • Be the interface between technology, and operations
  • Optimise business processes and recommend system changes to our Product and Technology team
  • Collecting, understanding and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications for the technology team, filling in the gaps where necessary
  • Planning and monitoring the required business changes from concept to implementation, working with technology and business colleagues to provide a holistic view
  • Developing and managing business relationships with key stakeholders and external vendors
  • Have a deep understanding of the interdependencies between the components of the system and operational processes, including communications and MI platforms to allow risks and conflicts to be identified during planning.
  • Support business areas in quantifying and tracking project benefits and conduct post project reviews to confirm benefit delivery.
  • Support the business in the preparation of User Acceptance Testing

 

Requirements

  • Strong business modeling skills combined with an astute commercial acumen
  • Relevant experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Proven experience in building or supporting a loan management system and processes
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a regulated industry
  • Exceptional stakeholder and business engagement abilities
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of lending financial structures
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, reporting, website development risk decisioning engines beneficial
  • Experience with process development and mapping
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely self-motivated / operate independently
